TEKNETICS MARK ONE WITH WHITES 5900 METER........

.....I just won this off ebay......looks good.......says everything is in good working order and has the new Whites 5900 meter instead of the Teknetics meter.........even the battery clips are in good condition!!.....I  believe that this is in Texas........so hopefully I have it by the end of the week!!........I was doing a Battery Modification project on another Mark 1 and really was not all that happy with it.......the battery doors kinda flexed or bowed........I could have made it better......but just put it off...... and then I saw this on the EBAY!!.........I had one back when they was new and found a lot of goodies with it...... really do not remember why I sold it..............browsing thru one of my detector parts box I found several of the 7 1/4 inch coils, one 10 inch magnum type coil  plus a 12 inch Hot Head Coil......I get a lot of parts thru trades plus when selling do not always sell all of the coils that I originally got with it...................I will post some PIC's once I receive it...................HH..................Joe

Hi Joe, I think the machine you bought belonged to Rick Hart I bought my Mark 1 of him also. We have made several deals over the past year he is a good guy and a man of his word. He would be someone good for you to make contact with as he likes to trade old vintage machines as well and he is very fair in his dealings.

..................MAN.....I REALLY FEEL RETRO.......it has been at least 15 years since i had a good operating Mark I.........I was into a project but never really got it running the way that I imagined.....so I just set it to the side.....and then this jewel pops up..............I was ready to bid at least $200.00 but for some reason .....the competition was not that fierce .....and I got it for a lot less!!........AT THE SAME TIME OF THIS AUCTION....RICK also had the red Mark I LTD also in auction......but it seemed to be less in demand/sold for less than what I paid......I think what really attracted me to this detector was the Whites 5900 meter.......HERE'S A PIC OR 2...........
